On My Side

As I'm living down here on earth, I have had some hills and mountains to climb. Their have been times when I thought I wouldn't be able to make it through, and then I remember my grandmother telling me about her walks through life. Grandmama had to face the murder of her father and brother who was lynched and burned alive by the KKK, and yet she remain a true believer in the Lord;  yes she told me how much the Lord had blessed her life.  We have all been in the valleys at one time or another in our lives, and its the hills, mountains and valleys that gives us our life experiences. My grandmother always said never be afraid or worried when God's on your side, and we may have some fears within us, but remember Psalm 23: 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. I find if we are going to pray why worry?, and the words of the Lord say cast your burdens upon me and I will give you rest. Life is sometimes like a battle field, and the field is the battle field for the Lord, and sometime we lose a battle or two, but the war is always won when God's on your side. As I write my book I will tell me stories of my injustice I recent experience in my young life, and little do my enemies know God is on my side.
