I Recall My Days
Someone asked me this morning why did I write and post such horrible things about my employer, and I thought for a brief moment to myself, it because as a black man we have had to endure some many hardships as we live in this old world. As black americans we have known injustice for most of our lives, and our justice system isn't really design for us who are black americans. While I worked for Singing River Electric Power Association, I witness at first hand of racism in the work place, and all of us who are black and work and worked there have witness our own racial injustice, and these are our stories to tell of the injustice we deal with. I'm sure Singing River EPA would rather sweep these stories under the rug than to have them being told, and one of my friends there once said my stories are so elementary, but they came from adults that have elementary minds.

A Note
www.facebook.com/jtb1968 Today as I was reading notes from my journal, I recalled hearing a story being told at Singing River Electric Power Association a Touch Stone Energy Cooperative in Gautier Mississippi. These stories are taken from my daily notes, and consist of racist slurs during my time with the company. I read this one today, and it was about blacks going back to there own country, and when I heard this I thought to myself Africa is a continent which so many intelligent do really know. Another thing I over heard was the mistake Abraham Lincoln made by freeing them from slavery, and one of the guys said the best place to keep them is on a plantation, and when they get out of order hang them from a tree to keep the fear in them. This went on for about eight minutes, but throughout days and weeks months and even years these slurs was a part of my daily life at Singing River EPA. Early one morning I came in to hear a conversation about blacks being shipped back to there own country and placed in the jungle where they belong. The jungle is to good for niggers, and their not animals their niggers, and the devil wouldn't want them in hell either. One of the white employees said he read this story about God called the devil to let him know He was sending him another load of niggers, and the devil told God no these niggers are so bad they are putting out the fire. As these stories was being told I would always mention them to my boss, and I also mention to a friend of mine Mrs. Ferlisi about these racial slurs. My friend and I some years ago flew to Africa an on arriving I didn't see to many africans or dark skinned people, but I met people who own diamond mines and many other nice things, who are not african decent. As I work with my publisher as I write my book I will include all these stories I witness as an employee at Singing River EPA.

On My Side
As I'm living down here on earth, I have had some hills and mountains to climb. Their have been times when I thought I wouldn't be able to make it through, and then I remember my grandmother telling me about her walks through life. Grandmama had to face the murder of her father and brother who was lynched and burned alive by the KKK, and yet she remain a true believer in the Lord; yes she told me how much the Lord had blessed her life. We have all been in the valleys at one time or another in our lives, and its the hills, mountains and valleys that gives us our life experiences. My grandmother always said never be afraid or worried when God's on your side, and we may have some fears within us, but remember Psalm 23: 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. I find if we are going to pray why worry?, and the words of the Lord say cast your burdens upon me and I will give you rest. Life is sometimes like a battle field, and the field is the battle field for the Lord, and sometime we lose a battle or two, but the war is always won when God's on your side. As I write my book I will tell me stories of my injustice I recent experience in my young life, and little do my enemies know God is on my side.

The Beginning Years
As A young child growing up surrounded by my loving and Christian family, we always had conversations about loving all of God's people regardless of where a person comes from or the color of their skin. My grandmother as a young girl wetness her father being murder by a white man, and her grandfather lynched, and I say all this to say this what a forgiven heart she had. When I got older I asked her why didn't she hate the monsters that murder her father and grandfather, and begin to tell me first God didn't create any monsters, He made all of us in His image, and we must love all of Gods people. Throughout the family conversations we never discuss hating any of God's children even though their was so much violence and lynchings they had in their memory. My grandmother told me the story of her cousin who was lynched and burned alive, and yet she still remained true to her maker. From my family teachings I carry the way of the Lord within me as I went out into the world, and unlike my grandmother I believe that people can be monsters and trash. I say this because what I an others have had to endure and still are to this day. As an employee at Singing River Electric Power Association a Touch Stone Energy Cooperative in Gautier,Mississippi; I founded out on the very day I arrived, I had really stepped back in time or into another world. Because of my family belief in religion, and what they had taught me, I over looked a lot of racist these being said and done; I heard these racist jokes being told on a daily bases. The company have about three hundred employees, and out of those are about ten blacks and we have talked about the racist these they do. Most of the black employees say this is away of life for us here, and it have been this way before you arrived and will be this way we are all gone. Throughout my years with them I made many complaints to my boss Ken and to the CEO Lee. When my book is published all the things I an other blacks have had endure an employees at SREPA.

Hiding Behind
Singing River Electric Power Association a Touchstone Energy Cooperative is based in Gautier Mississippi. Have had this hidden agenda for many decades now,and throughout my time with them I heard and saw many things I consider racist done by the white employees. I do wonder why sometime people feel the need to tell racist jokes, but they are told in many companies where the whites are the majority.
In Singing River Electric I could hear a racist joke every day,and management can't never say these jokes wasn't ever told because I recorded them, and their lawyer heard them during my deposition.
